Many of these folds are explorations of landscapes – attempts to translate terrain into the language of Origami. Maps are folded, and folds themselves become maps: how to fold a mountain, or capture the movement of water? Other folds are experiments in glazing, where shape and color converge in studies of surface and hue. Look for my studies on folded masks, and attempts to fold stainless steel and copper.
